from ''A Return To Love''

This was handed to me on a piece of paper yesterday, it is part of a poem which was given to Nelson Mandela, but this excerpt can be used for so many others in so many ways.

The words are strong and make you think.

.................................................................

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We are ourselves:

''Who am I. To be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?''

Actually, who are you not to be?

You are a child of God.
Your playing small doesn't serve the world.
There's nothing enlightened about shrinking
so that other people around you won't feel insecure
.
We are meant to shine, as children do.

We are born to manifest the glory of
the God that is within us.

It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone.
And as we let our light shine, we unconsciously
give other people to do the same.
As we are liberated from our fear, our presence automatically
liberates others.

Marianne Williamson.
